Misfit Salon was founded in 2022 by local Atlantian Esther Spicer, formerly known as The Beauty Genie. She started her salon in 2018 and decided to revamp her brand to match her personality – which is the funky, retro style you see today!
With a passion for making people smile, providing a fun atmosphere is a necessity to give all her guests a five-star experience. With upbeat music, complimentary beverages, and a whole lot of laughs, you’re guaranteed to enjoy your time in her chair.
Throughout her career she has attracted people from all walks of life, countless unique styles, and has thrived at customizing each guests’ look to truly embrace who they are and how they want to be seen. She has worked on set with The Weather Channel and Local Now doing hair and makeup, has been featured on platforms including Voyage ATL, and has had her work on the runway for fashion and hair shows around the southeast. She stays immersed in education, constantly honing her craft and staying up-to-date with the latest styles and techniques. From vivid color to natural balayages, long layers to precision cuts, glam to natural makeup; she has a range of skills that can guide you through your cosmetic journey.
